Pillar of Truth Ministries (aka PTM) has taken every effort to design our Web sites to be useful and informative. Hopefully we've accomplished that -- and would ask that you let us know if you would like to see improvements or changes that would make it even easier for you to find the information you need and want.

All we ask is that you agree to abide by the following Terms and Conditions. Take a few minutes to look them over because by using our sites you automatically agree to them. Naturally, if you don't agree, please do not use the sites. We reserve the right to make any modifications that we deem necessary at any time. PRIVACY

PTM is committed to protecting your privacy and your personal information provided via this website. Information such as your name, e-mail address, mailing address and general profile and preferences may be requested from you on a voluntary basis, or required for enrollment for PTBI, and may be used by PTM for limited purposes such as: (i) to notify you of particular services or new features provided by this website; (ii) to personalize or enhance your use of this website; (iii) to provide you with information that you request from PTM ; (iv) to facilitate your participation in community bulletin boards provided by this website; (v) to conduct user polls or surveys; and (vi) to monitor user traffic patterns, profiles, and site usage to assist in the marketing, planning, development and design of this website. If you choose not to submit voluntarily requested information, you may not be eligible for those activities for which personally identifiable information is needed. PTM will NEVER disclose to third parties statistics and other information regarding the users of this website in the aggregate, and PTM may release personal information of users of this website when it believes in good faith that such release is required by law, requested by subpoena or court order, and/or necessary to assist in discovery of valid legal claims. PTM maintains a membership database with the e-mail address, name, postal address, telephone number and other personally identifiable information of persons who have provided such information to PTM by mail, telephone or e-mail in connection with their membership applications. By becoming a member of PTM , you may receive future communications from PTM via e-mail, telephone or mail. Furthermore, PTM will NEVER share its address lists with companies and organizations not affiliated with PTM . PTM does not knowingly collect or solicit information from minors under the age of eighteen (18) without consent of parent or legal guardian in writing. Upon notification in writing from a parent or guardian that a minor transmitted information to PTM , PTM will remove or destroy any such information. As with any on-line interaction and electronic communication, there is an inherent risk involved in transmitting any information via the Internet. PTM does not and cannot guarantee that its system is free from hackers or viruses or that information provided by users to PTM has not been stolen or otherwise surreptitiously obtained. You hereby acknowledge and understand that such risk is inherent in interacting with any website, including this website, and take full responsibility for any harm, danger or damage that ensues due to any such breach in security, and PTM expressly disclaims any liability in connection with such harm, danger or damage.

"Cookies" are data that a website transfers to an individual's hard drive for record-keeping purposes. PTM uses cookies to remember certain information about you as a user of this website, including your username, site preferences and what you have already viewed on this website in order to track website usage and improve your on-line experience, including your course grades, and enrollment with PTBI. Our cookies do not contain any personally identifying information and are used only by PTM . You can view the cookies that have been stored on your hard drive by PTM or any other website operator. If you do not want information to be collected through the use of cookies, there is a simple procedure in most browsers that allows you to deny acceptance of cookies.

Secure CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS

PTM offers you the convenience of making on-line enrollment applications to Pillar of Truth Bible Institute and aking donations via credit card either directly thru PTM, or via PayPal. PTM cannot be responsible for information transmitted to PayPal, if you choose to make your donations via PayPal's website. PTM does offer the ability to make your donations and tithe's payable directly through PTM's secure site. PTM takes seriously the need for credit card account information security. Your credit card information is used by PTM only for its intended purpose, and all financial transaction forms are stored and served from a secure server. This means that each page you view on PTM 's website and any financial information you submit is encrypted on its way between computers (yours and PTM 's). Your peace of mind and the safeguarding of your credit card information are of the utmost importance to PTM . PTM WILL NEVER share any of your private contact information, phone, address, name, or donation information to any third party. All information is confidential and stored on a secure server and in our office files under lock and key.
Any donations made directly to PTM, can be set up on a one time or recurring basis, to cancel any recurring donations, simply notify us in writing, at least 7 days prior to the next recurring donation date. ( ie. If your donation is made on the 14th of each month, please notify PTM office of cancellation by the 7th of the month) If a donation is charged to your credit card, after having cancelled the recurring donation, the amount of the donation will be returned to the credit card on file, within 7 days of notification of donation being made after cancellation. PTM will in no way be responsible for any charges over and above the amount of the original donation.

Restrictions on Use of Our Online Materials:

All materials contained in the PTM web sites ("Online Material") are the copyrighted property of Pillar of Truth Ministries. In cluding all lesson and course material of Pillar of Truth Bible Institute. All trademarks, service marks, and trade names are proprietary to PTM and/or Pillar of Truth Bible Institute ( aka PTBI). No Online Material from our web sites may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted, or distributed in any way, except that you may download one copy of the materials on any single computer for your personal, non-commercial home use only, provided that you 1) retain all copyright, trademark and propriety notices, 2) you make no modifications to the materials, 3) you do not use the materials in a manner that suggests an association with any of our products, services, events or brands, and 4) you do not download quantities of materials to a database, server, or personal computer for reuse for commercial purposes. You may not, however, copy reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit or distribute our Online Material in any way or for any other purpose unless you get our written permission first. Neither may you add, delete, distort or misrepresent any content on the PTM sites. Attempts to modify any Online Material, or to defeat or circumvent our security features are prohibited.

NO permission is given, or implied, by enrollment in PTBI, to reproduce or copy said lesson and course material for further distribution or sale, without the express written consent of PTM and/or Pastor Kelvin & Kristal Nelson. Any violations of US Copyright law will be pursued. We do however teach that, "freely ye have received, freely ye shall give,..." however this does not mean you may use any of PTM &/or PTBI material for commercial or private use for profit or not, without our written consent.

Everything you download, any software, plus all files, all images incorporated in or generated by the software, and all data accompanying it, is considered licensed to you by PTM or third-party licensors for your personal, non-commercial home use only. We do not transfer title of the software to you. That means that we retain full and complete title to the software and to all of the associated intellectual-property rights. You're not allowed to redistribute or sell the material or to reverse-engineer, disassemble or otherwise convert it to any other form that people can use.
Submitting Your Online Material to Us

All remarks, suggestions, ideas, graphics, comments, or other information that you send to PTM and/or PTBI through our sites (other than information we promise to protect under our Privacy Policy), becomes and remains our property, even if this agreement is later terminated.
That means that such submissions are not treated as confidential. If we use them, or one similar in nature, we are not obligated to pay you or anyone else for them. We will have the exclusive ownership of all present and future rights to submissions of any kind. We can use them for any purpose we deem appropriate to our PTM Church mission, without compensating you or anyone else for them.

You acknowledge that you are responsible for any submission you make. This means that you (and not we) have full responsibility for the message, including its legality, reliability, appropriateness, originality, and copyright.

Any posting on our website is subject to the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. You cannot submit defamatory, obscene or otherwise harmful or offensive information or materials or information or materials that violate or infringe upon intellectual property rights or other rights. By posting you agree and warrant to PTM and/or PTBI that your posting meets all of the conditions for submission. We reserve the right not to publish any posting or to remove it from the website or other media at any time and for any reason without notice. Notwithstanding the above, PTM and/or PTBI expressly disclaims any responsibility or liability for any material communicated by third parties through this website, including without limitation any posting on the website. Limitation of Liability :

There is never a charge to access any part of our site, or to enroll and take part in any classes or any part of our site.

We sometimes provide referrals to and links to other World Wide Web sites from our sites. Such a link should not be seen as an endorsement, approval or agreement with any information or resources offered at sites you can access through our sites. Termination of This Agreement :

This agreement is effective until terminated by either party. You may terminate this agreement at any time, by destroying all materials obtained from all PTM Web sites, along with all related documentation and all copies and installations. PTM may terminate this agreement at any time and without notice to you, if, in its sole judgment, you breach any term or condition of this agreement. Upon termination, you must destroy all materials. In addition, by providing material on our Web sites, we do not in any way promise that the materials will remain available to you. And PTM is entitled to terminate all or any part of any of its Web sites without notice to you.
Pillar of Truth Ministries, and Pillar of Truth Bible Institute reserves the right to cancel this agreement, and suspend the right and priviledge to use our sites completely, upto and including a complete ban of your IP address from all websites affiliated with PTM, for vilating these terms of service, and/or for violating the PTBI Student handbook riles and regulations.

Jurisdiction and Other Points to Consider :

Unless otherwise specified, the Online Materials on our sites are presented to provide information about the resources of PTM and/or PTBI. The ministry of PTM was organized under the laws of West Virginia, in the United States of America. If you use our sites from locations outside of the United States, you are responsible for compliance with any applicable laws. These Terms of Use, and the agreement they create, shall be governed by and interpreted according to the laws of the State of West Virginia (without applying the state's conflict-of-law principles.) If any provision of this agreement is unlawful, void or unenforceable, it will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.PTM may modify these Terms of Use, and the agreement they create, at any time, simply by updating this posting and without notice to you. This is the ENTIRE agreement regarding all the matters that have been listed.
